We are pleased to announce the Call for Papers for the VIII International Conference

Word in Education: Good practices and challenges regarding the fostering of resilience in schools

to be held at Abat Oliba CEU University, Barcelona, 7-9 July 2021

The Conference is planned as a continuation of a series of conferences initiated in the Universitat Abat Oliba CEU in Barcelona by Dr. Marcin Kazmierczak and other members of the Research Group Family, Education and Inclusive School (Trivium): Dr. María Teresa Signes, Dr. Laura Amado and Dr. Cintia Carreira. The previous conferences were held in 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2018 in Barcelona (Spain), 2016 and 2020 in Krakow (Poland) and 2019 in Paris (France). Since 2016 the conferences have been co-organized by Universitat Abat Oliba CEU in Barcelona, the Jesuit University Ignatianum in Krakow and the IPC - Facultés Libres de Philosophie et Psychologie in Paris.

This 2021 VIII Conference edition aims to bring together education experts, philosophers of education, psychologists, literary scholars, art historians and theatre scholars to explore thinking about the experience as well as the practice of education. Both theoretical and empirical studies are welcome.

In order to participate in the Congress, it is required to send the title and the abstract of the lecture (max. 100 words) to the electronic address palabrayeducacion@uao.es before the 28th of February 2021*. The publication of the papers in the Conference Proceedings after a Scientific Committee’s decision will be published in highly ranked editorials and journals.
