Abstract
Ksiądz prof. dr hab. Stanisław Janeczek prowadzi badania w obszarze historii filozofii, logiki i metodologii, które w interdyscyplinarnie profesjonalny sposób wplata w szeroki horyzont studiów nad kulturą. Z jednej strony zajmuje się wpływem kultury na rozwój filozofii i jej kierunków, a z drugiej strony analizuje oddziaływanie różnych prądów filozofii na kulturę zachodnią. Dowodem tego jest treść omawianego tomu, w którego Przedmowie autor zaznacza, że [tom ten – przyp. JB] zawiera rozważania dotyczące wybranych elementów doktryn pierwszoplanowych filozofów, które swoiście rozbłysły w dziejach nowożytnej filozofii europejskiej, a także różnie ukierunkowanej recepcji dorobku tych geniuszy ludzkiej myśli, która jest z kolei przedmiotem historii kultury filozoficznej (s. 8).
