Abstract
Recenzowany tom jest kolejnym (jednym z ponad dwudziestu docelowo planowanych) wydawnictwem z serii Słowników Społecznych, publikowanych przez Wydawnictwo Naukowe Uniwersytetu Ignatianum w Krakowie. Jego redaktorami są Wit Pasierbek oraz Krzysztof Wach. Celem projektu jest zaprezentowanie stanu wiedzy z zakresu nauk humanistycznych i społecznych w trzeciej dekadzie XXI wieku (s. 9). Cechą charakterystyczną przedsięwzięcia jest to, że każdy tom składa się nie tyle z definicji wyjaśniających poszczególne pojęcia, ile z cyklu rozbudowanych esejów, prezentujących problem od strony teoretycznej i praktycznej. Poszczególne eseje są odrębną opowieścią o jednym z zagadnień wchodzących w skład analizowanej problematyki. Wspólna jest też wewnętrzna konstrukcja, na którą składają się streszczenie oraz słowa kluczowe. Całość zamyka podsumowanie z wnioskami i rekomendacjami, jak również zestawienie literatury przedmiotu pozwalającej na pogłębienie ustaleń zawartych w omawianych hasłach.
