Abstract
Recenzja podejmuje krytyczną ocenę monografii Michała Mrozka OP Habitus. Klucz do teologii moralnej św. Tomasza z Akwinu (Toruń 2025) pod kątem jej wartości naukowej dla etyki, teologii moralnej i filozofii wychowania. Materiał i literatura: podstawę stanowi recenzowana monografia wraz z aparatem źródłowym obejmującym pisma Tomasza z Akwinu (Summa Theologiae, Quaestiones disputatae de veritate, komentarze do Arystotelesa) oraz piśmiennictwo towarzyszące debat tomistycznych XX i XXI wieku, w tym tradycji Pinckaersa. Metoda: analiza merytoryczna i ocena struktury argumentacyjnej monografii, konfrontacja tez autora z problematyką etyki klasycznej i filozofii wychowania. Główna teza i wnioski: monografia Mrozka dowodzi, że pojęcie habitusu pełni w Summie teologii rolę klucza interpretacyjnego całej etyki Tomasza, a jego zaniedbanie w nowożytnej recepcji doprowadziło do redukcji cnoty do nawyka, świętości do przepisu i sumienia do katalogu zakazów. Wnioski dla etyki i wychowania: formacja charakteru wymaga habitusów cnót, a nie tylko przekazywania norm; wychowanie bez pojęcia habitusu traci metafizyczne podstawy.
