Digital Tools in the Education and Culture of Senior Citizens in the Context of the SARS-CoV-2 Pandemic
Abstract
The aim of the research is to assess the functioning of the University of Third Age, operating at the University of Agriculture in Krakow in 2019– 2022, in the context of the use of digital tools in the education process. Based on collected data and conducted analysis, an attempt was made to obtain an answer to the following research questions: What formula was adopted then, in terms of the way of conducting lectures, academic ceremonies and other scientific and cultural events during sanitary restrictions caused by the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic? What was the activity of the listeners using new methods and techniques of education? Were the digital tools, implemented at that time, applied after the abolition of mandatory sanitary restrictions?
