Abstract
Problematyka komunikacji należy do istotnych wymiarów ludzkiej egzystencji. Dzięki komunikacji gatunek ludzki mógł stawić czoło różnym wyzwaniom ewolucyjnym na przestrzeni dziejów. Na pytanie, po co się komunikujemy, może paść tylko jedna oczywista odpowiedz – po to, ażeby przetrwać. Chodzi tu przede wszystkim o przetrwanie w wymiarze biologicznym. Być może taka odpowiedź nie zadowoli wszystkich, którzy zajmują się problematyką komunikacji. Zwraca ona jednak uwagę na pewien bardzo podstawowy wymiar komunikowania, jakim jest przekazywanie informacji. Wymiana informacji – a na tym zasadniczo polega komunikacja – tak wymiarze werbalnym, jak i werbalnym służy nam po prostu do przetrwania, które polega na podejmowaniu racjonalnych i adaptacyjnych działań wobec innych ludzi.
