Interaction and Skills of Children in Nurseries and Primary Schools
Abstract
The paper discusses issues related to building up and enhancing the communicative skills of children and their relationship with the specific socio-cultural environment of nursery and primary schools. Emphasis is laid on the importance of developing children’s linguistic competence by providing favourable conditions. This allows desirable modes of verbal and non-verbal behaviour to be exemplified and expressed, and therefore allows interaction to take place.References
