The Dedelopment of Wisdom in the Context of the Polish Core Curriculum of Pre-school Education
Abstract
The goals of the teacher’s work with students are described in the
educational documents and priorities specified by the relevant authorities.
These guidelines present the current understanding of social development,
as well as the government’s education policy. Thus, they should also constitute the basis for teachers’ actions. Therefore, it is necessary to interpret the current core curriculum of general education in the context of the principles of support for the development of Polish students’ wisdom. A proposal for one such interpretation of the current core curriculum used in pre-school education is presented in this article.
