The main subject of MJSE Vol. 16, No. 1(31) 2027 will be:

Transdisciplinary and Intergenerational Dimensions of Media Education Worldwide: Past, Present, and Future

The Multidisciplinary Journal of School Education warmly invites scholars to submit research articles for a thematic issue devoted to media education. This issue aims to foster more profound reflection on key media education issues and to present innovative solutions in this field that may inspire educational practice, educational policy, and academic research.

The planned volume will cover a wide range of educational contexts, including different levels of education, teaching methods and techniques, and various domains of knowledge transmission.

We seek to include high-quality articles that:

• analyses the state of media education at different stages of education in Poland and worldwide (including comparative perspectives),
• present the results of empirical studies and literature reviews in this field,
• describe innovative teaching practices and educational programmes,
• identify barriers and challenges in the implementation of media education,
• propose tools, methods, and models supporting the development of media competencies.
