Doctor of Economic Sciences of the Warsaw School of Economics and Social Sciences. Bachelor of Business Administration with Distinction and MBA with Distinction from the Thames Valley University, MA in Management and Marketing in the field of Strategic Management (Polish Open University). Postgraduate qualification studies in General Pedagogy (Higher School of Health Education and Social Sciences in Łódź and the American Business Academy). Graduate of the School of Trainers (as Business Trainer) at the Jagiellonian University.

Agnieszka Knap-Stefaniuk performed a number of administrative and management functions: she was, among others, the Head of the Department at the Institute of Human Resources Management (Polish Open University), the Dean of the Małopolska Branch of the Polish Open University, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics in Kraków (Vistula University of Finance and Business in Warsaw). Assistant Professor at the Institute of Political Sciences and Administration at the Jesuit University Ignatianum in Cracow and Deputy Director of the Institute of Political Sciences and Administration for Student Affairs.

She was a member of the State Accreditation Commission (Committee for Economic Faculties), the Rector’s College and the Didactic and Scientific Council of the Polish Open University. She received Rector’s awards of the Polish Open University: Teacher of the Year 2006 and 2007 and for achievements in 2011. In 2021, she received the AIK Rector’s Award of the second degree for scientific achievements.

Her scientific interests focus on the issues of contemporary management, especially human resources management, intercultural management, multiculturalism and challenges related to the management of culturally diverse teams of employees. Organizer and member of organizing and scientific committees of several international conferences held in Poland and abroad. Author of dozens of articles in scientific journals and chapters in monographs published in Poland and abroad. She is a member of the Scientific Councils of Polish and foreign journals. She was the Editor of the Intercultural Management section in Perspectives on Culture, issued by the Jesuit University Ignatianum in Cracow. Member of the Polish Economic Society, the Scientific Society for Contemporary Management and the Polish Cultural Studies Society. She has been teaching for many years in Spanish, Italian, Czech and Portuguese universities. She has been cooperating with businesses as a trainer and consultant. Expert in research projects (including social integration and intercultural communication, research, and as a diagnostician of social competences of migrants). She is also a member of Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) expert teams in projects commissioned by the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.
