Doctor of Humanities in Philosophy (Jesuit University Ignatianum in Cracow), MA degree in Philosophy of Culture and BA degree in Systematic Philosophy. He studied American Studies at the Faculty of Cultural Studies at Jagiellonian University. 

In 2019 he defended his doctoral thesis with honors.  In 2013, he received the Dean’s Award for the best master’s thesis.  

Since 2019, he has been working as an Adjunct Professor at the Institute of Cultural Studies at the Jesuit University Ignatianum in Cracow and a lecturer in ethics and philosophy for teachers at the Academy of Applied Sciences in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski. Former content manager of postgraduate studies in Education for Family Life and lecturer at the Tischner European University.

Research interests: philosophy of culture and religion, ethics, religious studies, anthropology of culture and religion (R. Girard, C. Geertz), phenomenology of religion (G. van der Leuw, G. Widengren, R. Otto, M. Scheler, M. Eliade), ethical dimension of culture, relations between culture and politics. 

Author of monograph Konwersja w kulturze przemocy. Myśla antropologiczno-etyczna René Girarda (Wydawnictwo Akademii Ignatianum w Krakowie), co-author of lesson plans on bioethics for primary and secondary school teachers (Wydawnictwo Rubikon). He served as associate editor and then editor-in-chief of the international philosophical Forum Philosophicum journal (100 pts.).  He has published in point-scored scientific journals, including Human Studies, Meta: Research in Hermeneutics, Phenomenology, And Practical Philosophy, Seminare, Hybris, Kwartalnik filozoficzny and in collective works. Reviewer for high-scoring journals, including Theory, Culture & Society, Human Studies, and Philosophical Journal of Conflict and Violence. Member of organizing committees of many scientific conferences. 

For many years he has cooperated with educational institutions, training and scientific research institutions.  Deputy Director of the Krakow Institute for Education Development and head of the Regional Training and Postgraduate Center of the University of Economy in Bydgoszcz. On behalf of KIRE, he participated in the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ development cooperation projects TAB Rwanda and Global Education. He has coordinated the work of teams in numerous training and education and research projects financed by Ministerial funds of the Republic of Poland, the European Union, Norway Grants, and Swiss Contribution.
