Associate Professor of Humanities in History (Pontifical University of John Paul II in Cracow), Professor at the Jesuit University Ignatianum in Cracow (Grand Chancellor of the Adolfo Nicolás University, Rector Major of the Society of Jesus), MA in Philosophy (Faculty of Philosophy of the Society of Jesus, now Jesuit University Ignatianum in Cracow), MA in Theology (Pontificia Facoltà Teologica dell ‘Italia Meridionale, Sezione S. Luigi, Napoli, Italia), Bachelor in the History of the Church (Pontificia Università Gregoriana, Roma, Italia).

Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy (Institute of Cultural Studies) of the Jesuit University Ignatianum in Cracow. Head of the Department of Christian Culture History at the Faculty of Philosophy, the AIK Institute of Cultural Studies.

The focus of his research is the modern history of the Church, especially scientific and educational history and the cultural and social activities of the Society of Jesus in Poland, on top of biographies.

Author of more than 250 published works, including books, articles in scientific journals and chapters in monographs printed in Poland and abroad (Ukraine, Spain, Italy), lexicographic entries (Encyklopedia Katolicka KUL, Polski Słownik Biograficzny, Słownik Polskich Teologów Katolickich) and popular science articles. Co-editor of several collective works. Participates in doctoral and Associate Professor (“habilitation”) processes. He has appeared over a dozen historical documentaries. Organizer and member of organizational and scientific committees of several conferences held in Poland. Participant of many scientific conferences in Poland and abroad.

Recipient of the AIK Rector’s Award for scientific and didactic achievements (2015).

Reviewer of high-profile journals and scientific publication. Expert of the Ministry of Education and Science in the project submitted to a competition under the National Program for the Development of Humanities – National Heritage (2021).

Member of the Science History Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Krakow, the Church History Chair at the Polish Episcopate, the International Divine Mercy Academy with its seat at the Shrine of Divine Mercy in Krakow-Łagiewniki and the Program Council of the Heart Without Borders Adam Cardinal Kozłowiecki, S.J., Foundation with its registered office in Huta Komorowska. Since 15 December 2016, member of the Program Council of John Paul II Day on behalf of the Jesuit University Ignatianum. Member of the board of St. Ignatius Loyola Foundation in Krakow (since 2011). He participated in the beatification process of Fr. Jan Beyzym, S.J. (1850-1912). Vice-postulator in the process of 17 Jesuit World War II martyrs.
