Jedna podróż, trzy relacje, czyli jak wspólną peregrynację do Ziemi Świętej opisali Lionardo Frescobaldi, Giorgio Gucci i Simone Sigoli
Abstrakt
Średniowieczne opisy pielgrzymek do Ziemi Świętej to zazwyczaj dzieła na swój sposób jednostkowe. Opisane w nich zostały indywidualne doświadczenia i wspomnienia pątników, których na ogół nie można porównać z relacjami innych uczestników tej samej wyprawy. Dlatego tak ważnym i cennym źródłem do badań nad pielgrzymowaniem do Ziemi Świętej są relacje pozostawione przez trzech pielgrzymów, którzy wspólnie odbyli peregrynację na Wschód w latach 1384–1385. Analiza relacji, których autorami byli Lionardo Frescobaldi, Simone Sigoli i Giorgio Gucci, pozwala na wskazanie szeregu prawidłowości rzucających światło na okoliczności spisywania i sposób doboru informacji przekazywanych przez autorów opisów egzotycznych peregrynacji.
