Outdoor education, understood as learning beyond the traditional classroom setting, is gaining increasing relevance in the face of contemporary educational challenges. Its potential lies in direct contact with nature, the development of social, emotional, and cognitive competencies, and in fostering relationships with the surrounding environment. At the same time, important questions arise regarding the boundaries of this educational approach, its accessibility, safety, teacher preparedness, and its place within the formal education system.

We welcome contributions from researchers, teachers, educators, and practitioners who wish to share their reflections, research findings, experiences, and examples of good practice.
