Editorial Team
The editorial team of the journal Elementary Education in Theory and Practice (EETP) consists of scholars representing diverse strands of pedagogy and research on preschool and early primary education, including didactics, social pedagogy, childhood studies, and educational research methodology. The composition of the team combines academic expertise with research practice, which fosters an in‑depth analysis of the relationship between educational theory and practice.
Editor‑in‑Chief and Handling Editors
The Editor‑in‑Chief is responsible for shaping the scholarly profile of the journal, overseeing editorial policy, and ensuring that the publishing process complies with international ethical and quality standards.
Handling Editors are responsible for managing the editorial and peer‑review processes within designated thematic areas, ensuring the substantive coherence of submitted manuscripts and the appropriate selection of reviewers.
Ethics Editor
The Ethics Editor supports the Editor‑in‑Chief and the editorial team of Elementary Education in Theory and Practice in matters related to compliance with publication ethics and research ethics, in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
The responsibilities of the Ethics Editor include, in particular, the analysis of reports concerning potential breaches of ethical standards, including plagiarism, self‑plagiarism, conflicts of interest, and irregularities in the conduct of research, as well as participation in editorial investigations. The Ethics Editor formulates recommendations regarding further actions, including the application of procedures for correction, retraction of an article, or publication of an expression of concern.
The Ethics Editor does not make final decisions regarding the acceptance or rejection of manuscripts for publication. These decisions remain within the authority of the Editor‑in‑Chief.
Editorial Advisory Board
The Editorial Advisory Board serves as an expert body supporting the strategic development of the journal, advising on thematic directions, and contributing to the internationalisation of published research. Members of the editorial team and the Editorial Advisory Board are affiliated with universities and research institutions in Poland and abroad, enabling the integration of local research experiences with international pedagogical discourse.
The editorial team has experience in the evaluation of empirical research (both quantitative and qualitative), theoretical studies, and interdisciplinary analyses, which ensures the integrity of the double‑blind peer‑review process and a high scholarly standard of the articles published.
